3D Lotus

This is a recent project I finished for a company. I was asked to design an orange 3D lotus for a logo, with a semi-realistic look. Below are a couple of images of the final version. This was rendered using Mental Ray in Maya. I used a very simple ramp shader network to apply the colors and give it a nice smooth touch.

Here is a logo I designed a few weeks ago for Goofy Gamer for which I am currently doing the layout design too, the website will be up sometime in June. The idea of this logo was to make it fun, simple and clean, the eyes in the letters create a focal point to the tag line and also add characteristics to each word and makes them independent of each other.

Gamertag Radio

So, I was bored and decided to catch up on my 3D skills today. Turned out to be pretty good, spent an hour around with some ideas for www.gamertagradio.com logo as seen here…. the mic is pretty rough at this stage.
