Feudal Empires Boundary Walls Level 1

So, I finally got around to finishing the texturing for the level 1 boundary walls for Feudal Empires. The model was constructed in a way that it can be repeated on an axis. So, one module can be duplicated and aligned together to create a wall as long as the game needs.

The wooden poles were made to look like they were sharpened using a tool. This is the weakest wall in the game, so, it was made to look very unstable and put together by not a very advanced civilization.

Here is a close up render of the poles, to show the detail in the textures. I used a 1024 x 1024 color map along with bump and specular maps. You can see the roughness and the specular highlights in this shot.

3D Lotus

This is a recent project I finished for a company. I was asked to design an orange 3D lotus for a logo, with a semi-realistic look. Below are a couple of images of the final version. This was rendered using Mental Ray in Maya. I used a very simple ramp shader network to apply the colors and give it a nice smooth touch.

Goofy Gamer Launched!

I am proud to announce the launch of www.goofygamer.com. The site was launched today with lots of games for users to play. As the development continues, new features will be added to the site.

Goofygamer.com Logo

Here is a logo I designed a few weeks ago for Goofy Gamer for which I am currently doing the layout design too, the website will be up sometime in June. The idea of this logo was to make it fun, simple and clean, the eyes in the letters create a focal point to the tag line and also add characteristics to each word and makes them independent of each other.

I will be posting more of my logos soon, but for now you may go to the Graphic Design gallery to see more.

3D Earth Rendered in Maya

Here is just something I did for fun, thought it might be good to have for my 3D library of objects. I plan to do more planets in the coming weeks. Below is a rendered and a wireframe version with a color, bump and specular map. I also have a night version of the Earth, which I might post up at some point.
